If you have a question or feedback for the GOV.UK Design System team, we’d love to hear from you. There are different ways to communicate with us depending on who you are and what type of feedback or question you have.
For UK government services
If you work on a central UK government service, you can contact us using:
- #govuk-design-system on cross-government Slack to also get access to a wealth of knowledge from the whole community
- govuk-design-system-support@digital.cabinet-office.gov.uk to contact us directly or ask questions you prefer not to share publicly
- Github issues to report bugs and suggest code changes
- various community discussion spaces to help us improve the Design System
For other users of the GOV.UK Design System
If you do not work on a central UK government service but still use the GOV.UK Design System, we can try to help but might not be able to.
We focus on the use of the GOV.UK Design System for central UK government digital services. We cannot reliably provide guidance or support for different contexts.

For GOV.UK publishers
We cannot help with publishing on the GOV.UK website. Read the content design guidance and guidance for publishers.
If you cannot find an answer there, get support using ‘Request a thing’.
For members of the public
We cannot give general advice to the public. We do not have access to information about you held by government departments and cannot forward your queries to those departments.
